We had a small birthday party for Kayla (and Tris) while we were there, since most of our family is usually unable to make it to the girls' birthday parties.

My sister, Megan has two kids almost the same ages as the girls, but they have been living in Texas and we, obviously, are in Colorado, so the kids have never met. They moved back to Cali while we were there, so the four cousins finally got to meet. They hit it off right away...
