Potty Time!

We have been working with Cassidy on potty training for a while. We introduced the potty well before she turned two, but without pressuring her at that point. Since she turned two, she has been working on it slowly but surely. She seems to have periods of doing well followed by some regression. I didn't think she would be too excited by a sticker chart because she likes to hold onto stickers when she gets them, so we hadn't used one until last week. After she regressed back to almost not using the potty at all, we decided to try it. I wish we had tried it sooner! It took a couple of days for her to catch on, but once she did, it worked like a charm ,especially once she understood that she got a prize every time she filled a new row. She is still struggling with going #2 in the potty, but, just over a week after starting the sticker chart, she is going #1 in the potty everytime, even telling us before she has to go (which has always been a struggle!).
Here are some pictures of her with he potty chart, just over a week after starting it and less than a week after really getting it! since she finished the first one, we have started a new one, but the new one has 10 stickers in a row (as opposed to 5 on the last one), otherwise we would go broke buying prizes, even at the dollar store!!
